I received a Right Up Your Ali gift certificate for my 71st birthday from my daughters. They were tired of avoiding my pleas for fashion help. I was so nervous at the thought a stranger seeing my closet and all the clothing I have accumulated over the years.
Ali arrived at my house and I was stressed. She quickly put me at ease by talking and asking me questions. She went through my closet of clothing and shoes. It seemed so easy to decide what I needed to keep and what would be donated. I ended up with five large bags of clothing for donations and a neat and well organized closet. Ali kept a list of what I needed for fill in. We went on a shopping trip for those few items. Now, I will never have to stress about shopping or clothing again!
Now, it is effortless to walk into my closet and pick an outfit whether it is for a workout or a dinner out or anything in between. Everything fits and everything works. I feel validated and confident in my clothing. Shopping with Ali is efficient and “fun”. We went on a mission for shoes and pants and that’s exactly what we did. What would have taken me several frustrating excursions and way too much money, was a 30 minute totally focused shopping trip. I got everything I needed, spending less time, less money, and it was fun!
I never thought a fashion stylist was for me, however, working with Ali has been a wonderful experience. Efficient shopping trips, saving so much money by staying focused, but best of all is the way I feel when I wear my clothes. The confidence and comfort of knowing I look ‘okay’ is priceless. And one other bonus of having my clothing organized is that I do laundry once a week! I used to do laundry every couple of days because I wore the same thing day in and day out, I had a closet packed full of clothes and shoes, but never had anything to wear……not anymore!!
I will be hiring Ali to help me transition my clothing from season to season and I will be depending on Ali to help me shop. I can say with sincere honesty that I look forward to changing seasons and adding those few new pieces. Ali saves me time and money which is wonderful, but the bonus is the confidence I feel when I get dressed.
