Cleaning out my closet is a job that I dread. I decided that it would never get done unless I got help. That’s where Ali came in. What to keep? What to throw? With her very calm, non-judgmental manner, we went through clothing, shoes, and pocketbooks. Though some items were truly old, she just quietly commented that maybe this one or that one was “a little dated”. She listened to my hesitations on some, and respected my reasons for keeping the odd piece or two. However, I also respected her opinion, knowing that she had a good eye for flawed, dated, or mismatched pieces. Removing the items from my wardrobe didn’t even hurt. I knew that Ali was right.
